Kollam: Popular Front activists attacked the police officers too. A police officer was hit by a bike. Two police officers were injured. The incident happened at Pallimukku, Kollam.
Senior Civil Police Officer Antony and CPO Nikhil were injured in the attack. Then they were admitted to the hospital. Police have identified the assailant.
The popular front hartal was announced in Kerala after the NIA raided the popular front offices in 13 states. As part of this, widespread attacks are being launched in the state.
