New Delhi: For the second consecutive day, the Indian Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert as the rain continues on Friday.
The Cyclonic circulation over the north-western Madhya Pradesh and the South-western Uttar Pradesh leads to the rain in the Delhi region. An IMD official said that the rain will continue to persist in the region till Saturday.
“A fresh cloud is approaching towards Delhi leading to possibility of light to moderate rainfall at most places with intense spells occasionally at a few places over Delhi and adjoining areas of NCR during next 3-4 hours”, Tweeted IMD.
Today, it has been announced that the schools across Noida and Greater Noida in Gautham Buddh Nagar will remain closed till class 8.
