Kannur: The Excise and RPF together seized 677 grams of MDMA worth two crore rupees at a massive drug hunt in Kannur.
Meanwhile, the police arrested a team of drug dealers, including a woman with the help of the locals. The incident took place in Wayanad. Police arrested Al Ameen, Shanuba and Thasleena over the incident and also found cannabis from them.
The investigation team seized 53 grams of cannabis that were kept in small packets inside the vehicle that they used to travel. The locals said that it is the same gang who distribute cannabis across the region for adults and children. They also said that they are planning to inform the authorities after observing the people who are involved in this.
Police informed that strict investigation will carry on especially the shops near the educational institutions.
