New Delhi: Opinion polls have predicted thumping majority win for BJP in the Gujarat assembly election. The poll predicts BJP will win with 135 to 143 seats in the assembly and the victory will create a record as it will pave the way for BJP to rule for the seventh consecutive time.
ABP News-CVoter survey also hints that Congress party will get only 36 to 44 seats, and AAP, only 2 seats.
In the 182-member house, BJP will receive 46.8% of the vote share, INC with 32.3% votes and the AAP, 17.4% vote share, says the survey.
34.6 % of people support Bhupendra Patel to be continued as the Chief Minister and only 4.9% people wish to see Congress leader Shakti Singh Gohil as the new CM. Meanwhile,15.6 percent support AAP leader as the next CM.
In 2017, BJP got 99 seats and Congress, 77. The survey clearly mentions that BJP with a huge success can double the number of seats while comparing with last election. And the Congress, will not even get the half of seats they scored during the last poll.
