Srinagar: Police arrested Yasir Ahmed, domestic help of DGP Hemant Kumar Lohia for brutally killing Lohia by slitting his throat with a ketch up bottle. Interrogation is underway, said Jammu ADGP Mukesh Singh.
The police arrested the accused within hours of the murder. Yasir, a 23 year-old , stayed as domestic help at DGP’s house since six months. Lohia was found dead at his home last night with burn injuries and slitted throat.
The accused locked the room and then killed Lohia. Police suspect that the accused has some mental issues and depression. Yasir’s diary had been recovered from DGP’s residence, in which the suspect had penned notes on his strange thoughts and mental break down.
