Mumbai: Another malayalee got arrested in Mumbai for smuggling drugs. DRI seized 16 kg Heroin from Binu John who tried to smuggle it through the airport.
Last day, another Keralite named Vijin Varghese was arrested with drugs worth Rs 1476 crore. He had tried to smuggle the meth and cocaine through Mumbai port by hiding it inside a box filled with oranges. The drugs came in the name of the company that is owned by Vijin. The DRI stated that the deal was fixed in such a way that 70 percent of the profit in the drug trade would go to Vijin and 30percent to Mansoor. The drug was transported via ship from South Africa to Mumbai Port.
DRI stated that this is one of the biggest drug hunts in the country.
