Palakkad: S P R Viswanath has informed that a special team will investigate the tragic incident of bus accident that claimed nine lives in Wadakkancherry. The team, headed by DySP of Alathur, will conduct investigation.
The gruesome accident took place at Mangalam, near Wadakkancherry in the early hours of Thursday. The tourist bus carrying 42 students and five teachers of Baselios Vidyanikethan School, Vettikkal, Kochi, was on its trip to Ooty.
The tourist with over speed, rammed KSRTC bus that was going to Coimbatore from Kottarakkara. The tourist bus rammed KSRTC bus and the overturned and stopped in a marshy land.
