Panaji: The Indian Navy’s fighter jet MiG-29K crashed while returning to Goa this morning. The crash took place during a routine test flight over the ocean , near Goa.
In order to escape, the pilot jumped into the sea soon after receiving the warning signal and he was found after a search. A navy spokesman said that he was rushed into the hospital and now his condition is stable.
The Board of Enquiry has ordered an investigation on the technical fault that is said to be the reason for the crash.
