Hyderabad: A huge gold hunt in Hyderabad Airport. The customs arrested two women passengers with gold worth Rs. 74.02 lakhs. They were travelling from Dubai.
Air Intelligence officials searched the women. Following this, the baggage was inspected and found 24 carat gold which was hiding inside the bag.
The customs stated that the gold weighing 1,410 grams, worth Rs. 74.02 lakh were seized. The women were arrested and the gold was seized under Section 110 of the Customs Act, 1962. Police informed that further investigation in the case is in progress.
