Kottayam: Manju, a native of Kanakkary was attacked by her husband Pradeep. The attack was based on family issues.
The incident happened at 9 am today. There was a heated argument between the couple and following this Pradeep attacked Manju. He chopped both her hands. She was seriously injured and her fingers have chopped off.
Manju has been admitted to Kottayam Medical College. She has to undergo a major surgery, says reports. Pradeep is absconding after the incident. Police have launched a detailed probe in the attack.
