Lucknow: Anti – Terrorist Squad arrested a Popular Front Terrorist (PFI) in Uttar Pradesh. Nasir Kamal, a native of Prema Rai region got arrested last night after being found his active participation in the terrorist activities.
Nasir was arrested by a team under the leadership of ASP Thribhuvan Nath. The arrest held soon after the police confirmed his participation in the terrorist activities.
He had conducted several programmes in the background of the PFI, a terrorist association that has been banned recently by the Central Government. It is found that Nasir has close connections with many of the PFI leaders who were arrested recently. Nasir was remanded in judicial custody after being produced in the court.
