New Delhi: UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres supported Modi’s statement that “this is not the time for war”. He specially commented on his reply to the Russian President Vladimir Putin. He also welcomed the solutions to solve the Ukraine crisis.
He said that he is very anxious about the accelerating issues related to the war. It will adversely affect the life of the laymen. He also reminded that it will become more problematic if the issues persist in the same manner. He supported Modi’s reply to the Russian president. The UN General Secretary has clarified this while arriving India on a three day visit.
This is his first visit after he took over the position in 2022. Earlier Guterres visited India as UN chief in October 2018.
