Kochi: Perumbavur MLA Eldose Kunnappilly, who is on the run in connection with a sexual assault case, has got anticipatory bail from Thiruvananthapuram Additional Sessions Court today.
The court has imposed certain strict conditions including to be present before investigating officer on every Saturday, not to go outside the Sate, to submit phone and passport in the court, not to destroy evidence and also, not to influence the witnesses.
The investigating team had reached MLA’s residence earlier today to conduct search so as to collect evidence. The team, headed by Thiruvananthapuram District Crime Branch ACP reached Eldose Kunnappilly’s home along with the complainant.
The woman had earlier told that the Congress MLA took her to his house and assaulted sexually.
