Thiruvananthapuram: Raj Bhavan had banned four media for the special press meet held by the Governor today. Arif Mohammed Khan informed that some media were giving misinformation and they denied to correct that even when asked and hence the ban. The Governor had made his stand clear to the media in the morning. Governor told that he will not talk to the CPM cadre media and those media who need can contact Raj Bahvan.
Raj Bhavan had denied permission for Kairali, Jaihind, Reporter and Media One channels. Wrong news was issued in connection with Raj Bhavan and the news was not corrected though the PRO asked for it. Hence the decision not to include them in the press meet. The Governor told that he is not ready to include party cadres in the press meet.
Governor added that he never had any issues with the media. He has always taken right stand towards media. But I do have issues with CPM cadres in the media, said Arif Mohammed Khan.
