Thiruvananthapuram: R Bindu, the minister of higher education, has said that the underworld mafias are working behind the drug markets in Kerala. While inaugurating the action force against drugs ‘ASAAD’, the minister also said that a strict action is needed against the drugs mafia.
The new action force has begun by combining both the NSS and NCC volunteers.
Many of the RSS and NCC cadets took part in the inaugural function that was held at Thiruvananthapuram. Minister said that on 1st November, a human chain will be formed across the state against drugs. Minister also said the intoxicants will be burnt in order to accelerate the protest.
The anti drug protests are being strengthened when the state has turned a hub of drugs.
