New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the meeting that was held on the second day of Chintan Shibir. He said that in the constitution, the law and order is the responsibility of the states and it is also connected to the unity and integrity of the nation.
The PM said that in order to the development of the nation, the states should work in mutual coordination. He also shared the idea of one nation, one uniform. He said that if possible the states and union territories should implement plans to execute this idea. Modi criticized the attempt of people to trespass the boundary with the help of technologies. He specially mentioned the importance of unifying the central enforcement agencies to control the crimes.
The meeting has been held in the presence of the Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Shah said that the Chintan Shibir is a program that is being inspired by the PM Narendra Modi. He also said that the program aims to reduce the crimes. The home ministry had pointed out that the main factor of the internal security is the police force and it is a need to modernize the force.
