Srinagar: Security forces have thwarted an infiltration attempt in Jammu and Kashmir and killed a Pakistan terrorist. There was an infiltration attempt in Kupwara around noon.
The terrorist tried to enter the country through the Line of Control in Keran sector. But this was noticed by the security forces. After noticing the suspicious movement along the border, the security forces surrounded the terrorist. But he attacked the security forces. With this, the security forces opened fire.
Efforts are on to identify the Pakistani terrorist. Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh had stated that the Pakistan is trying to infiltrate terrorists into the country and after this, the infiltration occurred.
