Dehradun: The locals demolished the Mazar that was made illegally at Mehuwala in Dehradun.
The attempt to encroach land was held at Sitharam colony. Initially a building similar to a temple was constructed in the region. Natives said that the construction was held during the night time. But on the next day, the people saw a mazar in that place. This made clear that this was an attempt to encroach the land and the locals demolished and removed the Mazar from the region.
It is not clear who gave the permission to construct Mazar in the region. Police have started an investigation on the incident and Hindu associations also come up with protests. Earlier, a Mazar built on the forest area of Dehradun was also demolished by the natives.
