Ernakulam: The court rejected the bail plea of Laila, the accused in the Elanthoor double murder case. Ernakulam Judicial Magistrate Court dismissed the petition. Laila is the third accused in the double human sacrifice case.
Laila approached the court for bail stating that she was not involved in the murder. Laila had also said that the charges against her were fabricated by the police. The court’s order was by considering all these.
Laila was taken into custody for 12 days and interrogated in the human sacrifice case. They also mentioned this in the petition. The petition demands that the bail be granted. But the prosecution informed the court that bail should not be granted as the investigation is not completed. The prosecution had also pointed out that this would affect the investigation of the case. The order of the court was taken into consideration.
Laila is currently in custody in the case of killing Roslie. Laila, Bhagwal Singh and Shafi were arrested on the 11th of last month in the murder case.
