Kannur: The accused Muhammad Shihshad (20) a native of Ponnyambalam, has been arrested by the police in the incident of kicking a six-year-old boy for leaning on the car. The accused was arrested at 9 am. At present, the accused has been taken to the police for medical examination.
Shihshad brutally beat up a child from a Rajasthani family who had come to work in Kerala. The child was kicked for leaning on the accused’s car. The boy is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital with severe injuries at his back. The incident took place at 8:30 pm yesterday. Meanwhile, the CCTV footage of the child being kicked was also released.
The incident related to the case took place near Thalasseri, Kannur. The earlier release of the suspect questioned by the police had led to sharp criticism. It is alleged that the police were ready to take the accused into custody after 10 hours of the incident.
