Ernakulam: In a shocking incident at Maharaja’s College Kochi, SFI activist Abhimanyu stabbed to death inside college campus. Abhimanyu, a native of Vattavada in Idukki,was a second year Degree Chemistry student and an active member of Students Federation oF India, and a member of SFI Idukki district committee.
Arjun,who was also with Abhimanyu, is admitted to hospital with serious injuries. Three Campus Front activists are taken into custody.
The incident happened last midnight,following a clash between SFI and Campus Front,about sticking posters. The college was about to open today,and students were making preparations to welcome freshers . Abhimanyu died at the spot and the other student Arjun has been admitted to Ernakulam, Medical Trust Hospital.
