Kochi: A contradictory allegation has come up from the Democratic Youth Federation of India, against the Governor over his command to two media representatives to go out from a presser. DYFI, who was always silent while the issues like the ban for media representatives from the CM’s functions as well as from the concluding ceremony of the CPM party congress, has now surfaced to shower allegations. DYFI State Secretary V K Sanoj alleged that other media representatives kept silent and were passive while the Governor asked two media to get out from the presser.
DYFI is facing damning criticism after this statement. Responses like, “Keeping silent while the CM ordered to get out, and now pointing finger at the Governor over his stand on the two media representatives, is really contemptuous,” are coming out.
The Governor asked the reporters of Kairali T V and Media One to go out, saying that he will not speak to those who function as party cadres. Other media persons were standing there without any response. And as a protest, Reporter channel ousted the press meet and DYFI appreciated Reporter channel for their attitude. DYFI also told that they would like to know the opinion of other media over Governor’s action.
