Palakkad: Activists of the Popular Front of India, the banned terror organisation, is under strict scrutiny by the National Investigation Agency as there may be plots for making other groups by the terrorist activists. Social media, charitable institutions registrations, associations and so on are being inspected by the NIA officials.
Apart from this, people who mingle with other extremists organisations will be also under stringent supervision. Enquiry is on to get details of various organisations, their functioning, source of income etc.
Even before the PFI ban, the investigation team had already started collecting details of leaders and activists. Clear data of their visiting points and nature of work had been collected and the present enquiry is based on the previously gathered details.
