Itanagar: Strong earthquake occurred at the western Ziyang region that marked 5.7 on the Richter scale. As per the report of the National Earthquake Information Centre, the earthquake occured 10 kms deeper in the Ziyang region.
The earthquake occurred immediately after receiving an alert that hinted of a chance for an earthquake in the Himalayan region. The scientists also warn to take measures to minimise the loss. As per the primary report, no casualties are reported so far. The earthquake took place around 10:30 am.
