Palakkad: The National Investigation Agency has conducted raid in Palakkad, in connection with the Coimbatore suicide bombing. Search held at the house of Sheikh Musthafa, native of Tamil Nadu, staying in Muthalamada.
Sheikh Mustafa is the close relative of Riyas Aboobakkar, who was detained by NIA for his terror link with IS.
The search was conducted early in the morning and lasted for around three hours. Sheik Mustafa has been staying at Chappakkadu in Muthalamada for last few years. Riyas Aboobakkar was arrested for his IS connection in the year 2019.
Meanwhile, NIA conducted massive raids today in Tamil Nadu to find out details of the car explosion. Raids were held at 45 locations. It is hinted that one person is detained during the raid.
