Idukki: The body of a man who went missing in the landslide in Munnar has been found. The body of Kallada native, Roopesh, was found half a kilometre down from Munnar – Vattavada road, wrapped in soil.
The vehicle of the tourists who come from Vadakara had met with an accident yesterday. The vehicle met with the accident due to heavy rain and landslide.
There were eleven people in the vehicle. Rupesh came to Munnar with his family for sightseeing. He succumbed to death after rescuing his wife, daughter and father.
The landslide occurred at Puthukkadi near Kundala.
