Mumbai: Bansi Gram panchayat at Yavatmal district in Maharashtra has taken a decision to make the children under 18 years of age more productive in a different way. The gram panchayat has restricted the use of mobile phones for both boys and girls under 18.
As per the rule, minor boys and girls cannot use smart phones. The prime aim of the restriction is to protect children from game and porn video addiction and related behavioral issues due to the over indulgence of internet use.
The people of Bansi gram panchayat have happily agreed to implement the new rule. The resolution was passed unanimously. Though the children have already expressed tussle over the ban, authorities of the gram panchayat have decided to move forward with their decision.
