Abu Dhabi: Argentina won the final warm-up match before the Qatar World Cup. Argentina defeated UAE by five goals. Angel Di Maria scored a double goal in the match. Lionel Messi, Julian Alvarez and Joaquin Correa scored the other goals.
Julian Alvarez scored the first goal for Argentina in the 17th minute. Di Maria then scored goals in the 25th and 36th minutes. Messi’s goal was in the 44th minute. Joaquin Correa increased the lead to five in the 60th minute.
The match was held at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Argentina’s first match in the World Cup is against Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. Argentina’s other opponents in Group C are Poland and Mexico.
