Lucknow: Over the incident of a student bitten by a pet dog inside the lift, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority imposed fine to the owner. Rs 10,000 has been fined from Karthik Gandhi, the owner of the dog.
The incident took place yesterday inside the lift of the housing society. Karthik Gandhi was also there with his dog. The dog attacked the child when the door of the lift was closed.
Apart from the fine, the authority has instructed Karthik Gandhi to bear the full amount of medical expenses of the child. The injured child is currently being treated at the hospital.
The authority instructed Karthik to pay the fine within seven working days and a failure for the payment will lead to strict actions.
