Kozhikode: Muslim scholar and the secretary of Samastha Kerala Jamiyatul Ulama A P Muhammad Musliyar passed away at the age of 75. He breathed his last on today morning. He was suffering from illness for a week and was being treated at a private hospital in Kozhikode.
He is the first student of Kanthapuram A P Abubackar Musliyar. The cremation will be held in the graveyard of Karuvampoi Juma Masjid.
He was an active person who managed various positions like scholar, lecturer, writer and organiser.
He was survived with his wife Sainaba Hajjumma and his six children named Abdulla Rafeeq, Anvar Sadique Sakhafi, Ansar, Muneer, Aarifa and Thashreefa.
