Mumbai: The over bridge at the railway station collapsed and caused an accident. 20 passengers were injured. It is reported that the condition of eight people is critical. The accident took place at Ballarsha railway station in Chandrapur, Maharashtra.
When the bridge collapsed, the passengers fell from a height of about 60 feet onto the railway tracks. The accident occurred when people were going from platform number one to four. All the injured are being treated at the hospital. Compensation of Rs 1 lakh will be given to those seriously injured and Rs 50,000 to those with minor injuries, informed Railways.
