Income of Sabarimala crossed 52 crores in first 15 days; Highest income is from the sale of Aravana

Pandalam: Huge increase in the income at Sabarimala. In the first ten days, the amount crossed 52 crores. The highest income was obtained from the sale of Aravana. The Travancore Devaswom Board President Adv. K. Anantha Gopan informed.

The total income of the temple is Rs 52.55 crores. The highest gross income from Aravana was Rs 23.57 crore. 2.58 crores from Appam and Rs.12.73 crores from offerings. 48.84 lakhs from room rent and 31.87 lakhs from Abhishekam. Due to corona restrictions last year there were fewer pilgrims. The total income of the temple last year was Rs 9.92 crore.

The President stated that a major portion of this year’s revenue will be utilized for the festival. He stated that Appam and Aravana are in stock and two and a half lakh Aravana are sold daily.
