Thiruvananthapuram: Union Minister of Sate for External Affairs, V Muraleedharan has raised harsh criticisms against the Kerala Government over the arrangements made at Vizhinjam. The Government is hiding in hole. The Government must take steps against criminals and protect people. They are is taking Vizhinjam issue in a very light manner. The Government has not set even one tenth of the arrangements now in Vizhinjam, that they had made while suppressing the devotees in Sabarimala, added V Muraleedharan.

At this crucial time, when, such a grave situation is prevailing in Vizhinjam, instead of calling for a meeting on his own, the Chief Minister arranged an all party meet headed by the Collector. The Government was thoroughly prepared to face the devotees in Sabarimala. Here, the ministers themselves say that people came carrying weapons in Vizhinjam. What was the precaution taken by the police to face those people, asked V Muraleedharan.

The minister also added that the Central Government will never support any move that neglect the trust of the common people.
