Thiruvananthapuram: A special team has been appointed for law and order in Vizhinjam. Thiruvananthapuram range DIG Nishanthini is in charge. ADGP M R Ajith Kumar, who is in charge of law and order, appointed Nishanthini as a special officer. Apart from this, DCP Ajith Kumar, K E Baiju and Madhusudan are also in the team.
Along with maintaining law and order, they will also conduct an investigation into the Vizhinjam conflict. It is the assessment of the police that the situation in Vizhinjam is very serious.
