Thiruvananthapuram: The Popular Front, a banned religious terrorist organization, is behind the riots in Vizhinjam. Intelligence indicates that the Popular Front has infiltrated among the protesters. Intelligence has handed over the report in this regard to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
Members of the Green Movement, an environmental wing of the Popular Front, have infiltrated the protesters. They are the ones who lead the violence. Apart from these, some radical left-wing organizations and Islamic organizations have invaded the protesters. The report also states that the planning for the riot is being done under the leadership of a priest with foreign connections.
The policemen were attacked as part of a well-planned operation. A move is being made to organize people from different parts of the state to create a big riot to disrupt the construction of the port. Therefore, a special police force has also been instructed to be formed for security.
