New Delhi: An all-party meeting called by the Central Government will be held at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan this evening. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S. Jai Shankar and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi will attend the meeting in order to discuss the preparations for the G-20 summit, which is chaired by India.
40 parties have been invited to the meeting. As part of the preparations for the G-20 summit, various programs will be held in 200 cities of the country. The purpose of the meeting is to invite proposals, discuss and formulate strategies regarding the summit.
The summit will be held on 9 and 10 September, 2023. It is on 1st December, the Prime Minister took up the position of the Chairman of the G-20 Summit. Many foreign heads of state came out praising the Prime Minister after assuming the new post. The French President Emmanuel Macron praised Narendra Modi by saying “I believe that my friend Narendra Modi will bring us together to build peace and a more stable world,”
