Thiruvananthapuram: The sudden sound of gunshots at the Chief Minister’s official residence, Cliff House, created panic for a while. The gunshot was fired while the gun was being cleaned in the guard room. The incident took place around 9.30 am.
A bullet got stuck in the chamber while cleaning the gun. Policemen clean their weapons when they change duty in the morning. It was at this time that the firing took place. The City Police Commissioner has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
