Lucknow: A maulvi, native of Bihar got arrested in Uttar Pradesh for allegedly eloping with his student. The arres maulvi, Shamsher Alam, eloped with a 19 year old student.
The incident took place on Sunday. The girl told her family that she was going out to attend madrassa class and later went missing. The girl’s family filed a complaint in the police station. The enquiry revealed the incident behind her missing.
Maulvi had planned to elope with the girl to another place. Police found them at Suramenpur railway station. Case has been registered under various sections of Indian Penal Code. The maulvi was in remand and the police sent the girl with her parents.
