Islamabad: Attack on vaccination center in Pakistan. A policeman who was providing security at the polio vaccination center was shot by unknown assailants. The incident took place in North West Pakistan. District police officer Muhammad Shuhaib was shot.
The attack took place at a polio vaccination center in Koi Bhar, Dera Ismail Khan district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan. The assailants fired at the vehicle of Shuhaib, who was handling security matters here.
The policeman was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital. The police said that the search is on to nab the accused who fled from the spot. It is indicated that it is a terrorist attack. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
