Ahmadabad: BJP is in great joy of achieving continuous victory for the seventh time. Political analysts said that this is a golden moment for a party in the midst of a changing world. With this, BJP has achieved a record which is similar to the left wing parties in West Bengal.

Yet another victory can break the all time record of the left wing parties. Currently, it is only in Gujarat and West Bengal elections, a government has been taking up the position for 7 times continuously. It was during the years of 1997 to 2006, the left wing government took up the position continuously. The BJP, that took over the power in 1995 and is still counting.

In Bengal the left wing parties have a record of ruling 34 years continuously. The BJP Government will complete 32 years after completing the tenure in 2027. The reason for this is the left out of the party from 19 September 1996 to 4th March 1998.

BJP has won 156 seats out of the 182 member assembly this time. Congress won 17 seats and AAP in 5 seats. 3 independents also won. One seat was gained by Samajwadi party too.
