Thrissur: The leader’s phone recording is out, putting the Congress in a trap. A voice recording of a Congress leader demanding bribes for the appointment of a co-operative bank has been released. The conversation between Chelakkara Congress Block President T M Krishna and Panjal Mandal President T K Vasudevan is out. T M Krishnan asked money for the appointment in Killimangalam Service co-operative Bank.

The bribery is asked for the appointment of Former Vallathol Congress Block President C P Govindankutty’s son. T M Krishnan says in the voice recording that if Oommen Chandy calls out, the matter will not be done. ‘Minimum ten lakh is required for the appointment’ and it is also said that ‘money should be paid on the said date’.

But T M Krishnan denied the news of the bribe demand. His explanation is that he did not take a bribe for the appointment. The back door appointment of the leader is coming out when the block head is going to hold a march under the leadership of T M Krishnan tomorrow against the government’s back door appointment.  After the issue came to light, DCC instructed to avoid the march.
