Thiruvananthapuram: Huge increase in gold price. Rs. 50 has been increased per gram. With this, the price of one gram of gold has become Rs 5,010 and the price of one sovereign has risen to Rs 40,080. For 18 carat gold, 45 rupees rose and the current price is 4,150 per gram. This is for the second time in this month, the price of gold has crossed 40,000.
The price of silver has also gone up in the state. The price of one gram silver has increased by one rupee. With this, the market price of one gram of common silver has increased to Rs.74. The price of Hallmark silver per gram remains unchanged. The market price is Rs. 90.
Gold price remained unchanged on Tuesday. Gold price fell by Rs 280 and reached to Rs 39,680 on Monday. The price of gold was also higher last Saturday. Gold rose by Rs 25 per gram and Rs 200 per sovereign on Saturday. Gold traded at Rs 4,995 per gram and Rs 39,960 per sovereign on Saturday. Gold price remain unchanged on Sunday.
