Kolkata: Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee eluded from the issue of Vande Bharat train attacks. Mamata told reporters not to ask on that as she was in good mood.

“Don’t ask to me about the attack on Vande Bharat Express train now. I am on the way to Ganga sagar mela. More over, I am in a good mood too. You can ask anything after I reach Ganga sagar”, this was her response to media.

Ganga sagar mela will be held from 8 January to 17. Three helipads will be inaugurated there for the pilgrims. One bridge too will be inaugurated, added Mamata.

The train attacks from anti social elements had drawn huge criticisms. The first attack was on the fourth day after the launch. Again on the second day too vandalists pelted stones and attacked the train. The window panes of the train were destroyed. Even after the repeated incidents of attack, Mamata Banerjee is not willing even to respond over the matter.
