Malappuram: An accused in connection with the stone pelting of Vande Bharat Express in Tanur was arrested. Muhammad Rizwan, from Tanur, was arrested by the police. The accused said that it was a mistake.
Police officials said that the accused revealed that he did not attack with a stone but that it was a pipe. The incident was the result of a playful interaction and was not done on purpose. He was later let off on a station bail.
