Ernakulam: Former minister and Congress leader VS Sivakumar appeared before the Enforcement Directorate with his advocate in connection with a disproportionate asset case filed against him. The ED had issued the summons to VS Sivakumar three times, but he did not respond to it for unknown reason.
Following this, a notice was sent again asking him to appear yesterday, however, he appeared today. It was found that he had amassed wealth illegally when he was the health minister; following this, the vigilance also registered a case against him. ED has also summoned Rajendran, who is a friend of Sivakumar.
