Idukki: On Monday, a seventeen-year-old boy had committed suicide by airing live visuals of his death on the internet at Nedumkandam. Following his death, his classmate also committed suicide in the same manner last night. The police were investigating the death of the first boy when his classmate also committed suicide. The police said that the latter too committed suicide after airing his final moments live on the internet.

As scientific investigations are going on, the police have instructed not to publish the name of the deceased students.

The police have found that the first suicide occurred on the instructions of an unidentified gang through an online game. The laptop of the student has been sent for further examination. The police believe that around thirty children around the same age have been trapped by this dangerous online game.

It was only yesterday that the police arrived to the conclusion that the first suicide was committed under the instruction of the unidentified gang through online game. The boy had consumed poison and hanged himself.

After the boy’s death, his family members, and relatives, who are IT professionals, had examined his laptop. It was found that once the internet is switched on, the control of the boy’s laptop was in the hands of the unidentified gang. It is believed that the boy was living under their instructions for quite some time.

The police say that the boy had committed suicide after completing the tasks given by the unidentified gang.
