Palakkad: On the incident of AI camera being destroyed at Ayakkad Road in Vadakkencherry, police arrested Muhammed (22) of Pudukkode native.
According to police, Thursday night around 11 p.m. the camera post was hit by a vehicle. The police are searching for two more people involved in the incident. The camera and the post fell down due to the impact of the crash.
By the time the people heard the noise, the vehicle had passed by. After the incident, the police immediately reached the spot and conducted an investigation.
The police are conducting a further investigation into the incident. The police are probing whether the vehicle was involved in an accident or whether the incident took place under the influence of alcohol.
The police are also investigating whether the accused deliberately did it to break the AI camera and whether there were other conspiracies behind the incident.
