THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Complaints have been raised against Kerala University for declaring results without evaluating the answer sheets. It has been reported that the results of undergraduate students were published without proper evaluation. When students voiced their concerns about this issue, university officials responded by saying that those who had grievances could apply for reevaluation by paying a fee.

The students who enrolled in BA Malayalam at Pandalam NSS College and Kollam Perayam NSS College in the School of Distance Education Centers collectively failed in the examination. When the students from the Pandalam center failed, some of them inquired with the university to find out the reason. The university claimed that the candidates did not attend the examination. However, upon checking the attendance records, it was discovered that all the students had appeared for the examination.

Further investigation at the college office revealed that the answer sheets had not been collected from the exam center for evaluation. Subsequently, the students filed a complaint with the Controller of Examinations at the University of Kerala in Thiruvananthapuram. The officials advised the students to apply for reevaluation. The students then complained that even though the answer sheets had not reached the evaluation center, the university had published the results as ‘fail’ and demanded that the students apply for reevaluation, including the additional charges for reevaluation.
