BJP leader, Sandeep Vaachaspathi, becomes news anchor for online news portal Marunadan Malayali in a strong show of support for freedom of press in Kerala

hiruvananthapuram: In a show of support and solidarity to the online news portal, Marunadan Malayali, BJP leader, Sandeep Vaachaspathi, read the first news of the online portal yesterday. Marunadan Malayali and its owner, Shajan Skariah, is facing the heat of the communist government for reporting against the government and communist leaders. Last day the offices and even houses of the employees of Marunadan Malayali were raided and computers and laptops confiscated.

Sandeep Vaachaspathi took to his social media page to share the video and also the message about standing in solidarity with the media in Kerala. He says that it is the duty of everyone who believes in democracy.

The BJP leader adds that when Pinarayi Vijayan is trying to shut down Marunadan Malayali, each one of us must turn into a reporter for the online news channel. He also called upon everyone to post video news for Marunadan Malayali and send it via a WhatsApp number.

Sandeep Vaachaspathi appeared in the video calling for support to press freedom and then proceeded to read news about Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, asking his Ministers to complete central government projects before the next Republic Day.
