KOLLAM: In a recent incident involving Minister V Sivankutty’s pilot vehicle colliding with an ambulance, the police have filed a case against the ambulance drivers, accusing them of driving in the wrong direction.
However, the situation has taken a complicated turn as the injured person in the accident has come forward with accusations against both the minister and the ambulance driver, while the ambulance driver has also made allegations against the police.
Following the collision at Kottarakkara’s Pulamon junction yesterday afternoon, allegations have been directed towards the minister and the police. Ashwakumar, the injured individual, has claimed that the minister showed no regard for humanitarian considerations. On the other hand, the ambulance driver, Nitin, has alleged mistreatment by the police when he attempted to file a case at the station.
Interestingly, the CCTV footage clearly shows that both vehicles were at fault in the accident, further complicating the situation.
